Limited to 50 individually numbered pieces
The state of Montana has sent more than her fair share of brave men and women to honorably serve on battlefields around the world, but still remains the only state in the Union without a battleship namesake. The Bozeman Watch Company is proud to set sail the state’s first; the “Montana Class Watch Collection’s” U.S.S. Montana. Only 50 of the individually-numbered certified Swiss chronometers exist worldwide.
This watch incorporates a newer and very robust movement that is 36.6 millimeters in diameter and that has a very fast winding mechanism which reaches full power quickly and maintains up to 48 hours of main spring reserve. The U.S.S. Montana’s crisp white dial and Roman numerals are reminiscent of the classic era of timepiece aesthetic, and we’ve further removed the date window to more clearly draw on early American and Swiss watch influences. Today, most any automatic mechanical watch has a date function, though it is a relatively new feature as most early American and Swiss mechanical watches did not have a date window.
Though it is an automatic mechanical watch and not a battleship, we are still honored to be able to show our appreciation to the troops, both past and present, for serving our country and its citizens. It is with this U.S.S. Montana watch that the Bozeman Watch Company lends support to the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and to date has donated over $7000 in support of the families of fallen soldiers.
